Beta Team

My Beta Team is a select group of people who read my books as I’m writing or shortly after first draft completion. They give feedback and recommendations on changes before final edits and before advanced reader copies go out to my ARC Team.

ARC Team Frequently Asked Questions

What is an ARC Team?

An ARC team is a group of dedicated readers who are given advanced reader copies (ARCs) of the author’s upcoming book before it is officially released. The purpose of the ARC team is to help generate buzz and reviews for the book by reading it and providing feedback, posting reviews on retail sites, social media, or blogs, and spreading the word to their networks. ARC teams are typically composed of enthusiastic readers who enjoy the author’s genre and are willing to provide honest feedback and help promote the book in exchange for early access to it. Being part of an ARC team can be a great way for readers to discover new books and authors and get involved in the publishing process.

How do I join the ARC Team?

Joining the ARC Team is as simple as signing up for my ARC Team newsletter. Scroll back up this page and click on “Subscribe” in the “Join the ARC Team” section.

How will the book be delivered?

The full manuscript will be automatically delivered to ARC Team subscribers using BookFunnel, a trusted book delivery service that delivers more than 2 million ebooks every month for indie authors. Bookfunnel wil deliver my book to you in the format and for the device that you prefer.

How do I leave the Team?

You can leave the ARC Team simply by unsubscribing from the team newsletter. If you obtain a free book and do not leave your promised review, you will be on the naughtly list and may not be able to rejoin.

What if I just need to take a break?

As long as you have left your promised reviews for any books you’ve recieved advanced reader copies for, you may unsubscribe and resubscribe at any time without penalty.

What if I don't like the book?

Friend, the intent of advanced reader copies is to solicit honest reviews. HONEST. You can hate the book, you can wish it mentioned more blueberries, you can suddenly learn you are allergic to romance in the middle of my book. If you obtain an advanced reader copy, I expect an honest review and I will be grateful for it.
