Jamie Faultner
PNR/PAR Author
Jamie Faultner is a multi-talented author with a wealth of life experiences that have shaped her writing style. Raised by her great grandmother during her formative years, Jamie learned the importance of resilience and frugality from someone who had lived through the Great Depression. This lesson in making the most of what you have has stayed with her throughout her life, and is reflected in her writing, which often features characters who must survive and thrive in difficult circumstances.
After being honorably discharged from the US Air Force, where she served as a meteorologist and gained a deep appreciation for the power of nature, Jamie has held a variety of jobs, including human resources specialist, executive secretary, and web and book cover designer. Her diverse experiences have helped her to see the world through many different lenses, and to create characters that are both relatable and fascinating.
As an avid reader who consumes an average of 300 books a year, Jamie has a deep appreciation for the power of storytelling. Her love of romance novels is a major influence on her work, and she is passionate about crafting stories that explore the many facets of love, from the exhilaration of falling for someone new to the comfort and stability of a long-term relationship. When she’s not writing, Jamie can be found spending time with her husband, who is still enlisted in the Air Force, and her beloved rescue dog Sasha, who often provides inspiration for her four-legged characters.
